What started as a high school band evolved into something far greater than they ever expected. On 21 February 2004, Christian, Jeffrey, and their past bassist formed Something Strange that was originally intended to play for a school competition. After playing in gigs as a three-piece, the band required the need for a second guitarist, Rogie. Luigi was then added to become the lead guitarist. This is when the five-piece Something Strange came to be. With trouble with the bassist, Adrian replaced him and played numerous gigs with the band. However, before the summer of 2007, Something Strange was disbanded. Christian and Luigi formed a four-piece band, Jejaview, and played number of gigs before being disbanded later the same year. Christian and Luigi's first original song, Rising Sun, was heard by people who watched their gigs during the Jejaview era. At the start of 2008, Christian and Luigi formed a quintet, The Furies, taking Adrian to replace their original bassist. Their original song, Rising Sun, was adapted by the band to be The Rising Sun, together with the two's other creations - Paperskin and The War. The originals never came out into the public because The Furies have not played in any gigs during their time. There were members who were not satisfied with the level that they have attained during their 5 months of being a band in the studio. This was the foundation of having The Furies disbanded. Something Strange members remained friends after being disbanded. After joking around on getting back together, they finally decided to continue what they started on May 2008. They are now improving the originals that two of their members have created and are currently adding more original songs.
