THEBOSSHOSS:FINDING THEMSELVES This is a story that only ever gets written by pop culture. 7 guys from Berlin have an idea: country music is cool, let´s do something with it! They start creating their very own country sound and record an album – Hip Hop songs freshly clad in new costumes is their most formative feature! There are many bands that succeed throughout a summer period by releasing a good concept album but The BossHoss turn into a phenomenon: they win over a huge and loyal following by playing more than 400 gigs in just 3 years! Their sophomore album is even more successful than their debut Internashville Urban Hymns. Rodeo Radio already consists of more songs written by themselves than cover versions and these quickly become their fans´ favorites! More than 300.000 copies have been sold of both albums to date! So far, more than 500.000 people have seen the band perform at one of their highly acclaimed shows this year. The BossHoss have turned into established album artists and their fans are anxious to lay their hands on the new album, released on October 26th. The BossHoss have finally found themselves on Stallion Battalion. Still, the supporters of the band´s familiar sound won´t be disappointed – the odd ingenious cover version will not be missed!However, their own songs are the crucial ones: dynamic Rock´n´Roll tracks without any embellishments are to be found on the album as well as songs and ballads that stylistically combine country with pop. Their current single Monkey Business as well as the album titled track Stallion Battalion represent this new and self-assured BossHoss style perfectly. Here it becomes clear: The BossHoss remain true to themselves whilst also reinventing themselves both at the same time! They still convey the full range of emotions that made The BossHoss so successful in the first place. A limited edition of Stallion Battalion will also be released which will feature a live DVD. This will especially thrill those fans who have been waiting for a lasting gig experience of the Rodeo Radio Tour for quite a while now!Purists and those who claim to be the guardians of the so-called “real“ Rock´n´Roll will undoubtedly turn their noses up at Stallion Battalion.
