Felix and the Cats Featuring Dave Herrero ~ Classic Blues - Swing - Funk - Latin - Jazz ~ Acclaimed guitarist/songwriter Felix Reyes teams up with Austin, Texas guitarist/songwriter Dave Herrero for a tour de force of American roots music. Felix's song "Wait For Me" is the title track of Susan Tedeschi's 2nd CD on Artemis/Tone Cool Records. This song is also available on "Susan Tedeschi Live at Austin City Limits" on New West Records. Dave has a self released CD entitled "Hard Life Blues", and is currently producing music for the Oprah Winfrey show. Between European tours, he is producing music for some of the biggest names in rap and R&B. Both transplanted musicians bring years of performing experience to the stage and have been featured artists on many festivals and concerts. They have shared the stage or backed up some of the biggest names in blues - B.B. King, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Archie Bell and the Drells, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Lee Hooker and many many more. When these guys team up its like going on a musical tour of America.. They may take you to Texas via Chicago for some authentic Blues, then to the West Coast for some jump'n swing, the gulf coast for some swamp rock- you may even get dragged down to the border towns! One things for sure, it's ALL GOOD and you're in for one hell of a show. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes!!! |
