Fuel for my soul.. swing music, a good old film, a good laugh, hot rhythms, vintage dresses, extra ordinary hair-do's, cat company and old vehicles. I collect shoes from the 40s and a spend a lot of time making and remaking oldstyle clothes. I got a thing for Lady Day who fills my life with beauty and sorrow every day. I also do some work for the Swedish Swing Society and I organize rock'n'roll nights and dance events in Stockholm Every now and then I appear at the turntable with good and weird music from 30s to the 50s - Swing jazz, Jump blues, early jazz, sheesy vocalists, mambo, rock'n'roll and all kinds of hot tunes. I dance when ever I get a chance, mostly early jazz dances as Lindy Hop and Balboa Even John Wayne tries to swing from time to time.. I got a special place in my heart for vintage scooters and cars, 1940s outfits and handsome gentlemen but there is plenty more going on in this head of mine. What that might be is for me to know.. and for you to find out. |
