| Ok, lets face it, its MY space so i'm aware of what the content is, so i'm gonna talk about myself which is boring, but i'm not gonna pretend someone else has written it for me from DJ mag, lets keep it real!I'm a producer / DJ / musician / poker player. I'm from Birmingham UK, my star sign is apparently Scorpio, that's just a load of witchcraft as far as i'm concerned....each to his/her own. I work under the monika Timmy Vegas as this has long been my poker internet name. I have also recorded under The Wikkaman and Movementz. I am one half of SOUL CENTRAL , the other half is DJ Andy Ward the ginger headed Raas Claat. I used to play keyboards and guitar for Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant who unfortunately supports Wolverhampton Wanderers......Some of the productions i may be known for is the Dance anthem "Strings of life" on Defected and the vocal version i co wrote "stronger on my own" feat diva Kathy Brown. I also wrote Dutty Funk on MN2S feat diva Barbara Tucker who wrote the song " we can do" on top. So, i've been blessed working with huge vocal divas. I'm also very proud of my / our first releases on USA labels MAW KenLOu records, " Song for Sharma" and stuff on Henry Street and Soundmen on wax. It was with USA labels in NYC where we got our first breaks ,they were the first people to get what i / we were doing and i will always be grateful to them and that music will always be close to my heart.Influences ???? I'm not gonna jot down a list of funk, Jazz and soul heroes....the bottom line is OUR influences, whether you are aware of them or not are : African tribal music, Mozart, Bach, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, James Brown and The Beatles. These generally ( there are others) are responsible for making significant changes in musical form and have brought us where we are today musically, so i'm gonna give them props even though most of em are dead.For DJ bookings contact MN2S.
