Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Black and Gray It all began in the year of 2000. Marte, Inger and Helene started to strum on some instruments they found lying around. They suddenly got this idea to start a band… and they called it Cables. Not long after, they met the fourth member of the band, Silje, who just happened to play the guitar! Together they wrote some rockpunk music, and had a lot of fun doing it. After hours with practice, they were ready to show their music to an audience. Cables played a few local gigs and after a while they recorded a demo. As time went by, all of the girls moved to Oslo.There they found a place where they could keep on rehearsing, and they also continued playing gigs.In springtime 2004, Helene decided to leave the band. The girls now had to find a new guitarplayer. They contacted their friend, biggest fan and devoted t-shirt salesman; Tine. She happily accepted the offer, but there was one tiny problem - she didn’t actually know how to play the guitar… But after a few months of practice, she was ready to join the band… five months later, she was on stage for the first time with Cables. Their fairytale will rock until the end of time... |
