"Five beach boys producing music out of their own Orange County studio surprise us with a mature retro sound. On their myspace page, they describe their genre as 'psychedelic/tropical,' which makes sense after you’ve listened to them. As they strum and sing away, you feel like you could be at a groovy sixties pool party busting out some outdated dance moves like ‘the Swimmer.’ Their more mellow tracks with raspy vocals feel like lying in the grass on a sunny day with some hippies burning incense.
