| Mandy Smith, "there's definitely something you can find to like about her and her music". A singer songwriter out of Houston Texas, has just released her 4th album "Texas Star", produced by rockabilly super hero Phil DeVille of Mustang Lightning. Releasing three Cd's in the past few years; Comin Home 2004, West Texas Sun, 2004, and Mandy Smith Group 2004 the at the Hard Rock Cafe Houston, she has struggled to balance performing, creating and producing her sound through the independent label Manfred Productions. Mandy has performed with some international acts including underground supergroup Stone Coyotes and Ecelctic Blues Man Guy Forsythe, with some other choice highlights playing the Champs Americana Superbowl VIP party, and holding court with Texas Live at the SXSW conference for an on air performance. Mandy Smith's music is not the same old stuff. Her songs are played on playlists around the world her live performance delivers a raw energy, emotionally charged and thought provoking.
