| In many ways I'm a classic NY Jew...My mom's from Germany my dad's
from Russia/Poland, they met in the Holy Land and came to the Bronx in
the 60s to live the American Dream...I guess I was the product of their
American SEX (make-up sex off the road to Woodstick, Route 17, near a bungalow colony in the
Catskills, i.e, the Borscht Belt, or The Jewish Alps). I'm a writer and an all
around Warhol/pop culture freak..I was born in JAMAICA (Queens) grew up mere feet away from a JFK runway and the toxic Jamaica Bay swamps, known for the many goodfellas-era bodies that hang about. "went to Lee Strasburg acting school...I made my clothing line/movement THE FUN DIP GENERATION.. and sold clothes to the last of the real "Club Kids" (the "party monsters") via
boutiques like Pat Fields I soon moved to LA to go to Cal Arts filmschool (pic by Dr.) where I stayed..I have MUCH respect for my elders, especially people who WERE THERE; they humble me every day. I beleive in KRS1's line, "YOU MUST LEARN," and I try to live it everyday...what I learn is a different story. I'm a gemini, which means I fluctuate between extro and introvert (or as my friend Catlin says, "public/private") I can keep a secret (mine, yours, ours) I like going to
places that used to be places but are new places now (kinda like going to the Dom on St. Marks place, knowing that it was once the place of the Warhol/Velvets EPI location, but now it's a sad apartment/quiznos complex) I kinda go back and forthforth from NY and LA right
now...Bowie is the only man I'd call daddy...I love fake things but I hate
peeps that FAKE THE FUNK...CHET BAKER makes me cry...Oh, and my
