| Some people believe Erosia doesn't exist. Some believe the only way to get there is to find it in a dream. Others think the only way to see it is to believe in it, and that a non-believer could sail their boat right through the islands, while a believer might see the Erosian islands in the same spot. It is up to you to decide what to believe, and you may call me mad if you wish. All I am doing is recounting Erosia the way I remember it and sharing my memories with you.The Valentines were the royal family & were rumored to have descended from vampires.Prince Ruby Valentine didn't care for royal priviledge. He wanted freedom.When Ruby wanted to make love, he played into the night at the cabin he built, The House of Love, and women arrived from all over Erosia to answer his mating call.One autumn evening, Ruby heard an angelic voice singing through the forest. It was the voice of the Muse, Erica Xenne, who came from one of the outer islands of Erosia. Ruby heard Erica singing through the trees and answered with a guitar riff. They played back and forth through the forest for days. When they finally met, both were enamored, but Ruby knew this was dangerous. Ruby knew he was vampirical and Erica was vulnerable, and felt it would be cruel to make love to her. He vowed to keep his hands off her to avoid ruining her as he had ruined other women. Ruby brought Erica to all his secret places in the forest to play music. He found it increasingly difficult to keep to his vow. Erica sometimes came to the House of Love, but Ruby rejected her for as long as he could. Their passion was expressed only in music. Music has a life of its own... can love remain trapped inside a song forever?
