| Over the past 13 years Absolute Art and it's tattooers have been setting the standards in RVA for all styles of tattooing in a comfortable friendly shop. Absolute art was first opened in '93. Way Cool Tattoos had just closed and Jason Hobbie opened AA. Working with Jason was Jeff Edan and Beau Butler. Tattooer and Peircer respectively. They shared a 2 room shop at 917 W. Grace st. Hours were 12 to 12. Jason from noon to 6 and Jeff and Beau 6 'til midnight. In the summer of '94 Jason Camford, who Jason and Jeff had previously worked with at Way Cool, came to AA. Lter that same summer they were joined by Chris O'Donnell and Timothy Hoyer. At that point the shop moved up one floor and expanded into a space twice the size to give everyone a little elbow room. Jason Camford moved to Hawii a year later. AA rolled right along and in the winter of '96-'97 Timothy and Chris left to open Alive Gallery and Jason closed the doors. Jeff, Beau, and Jason moved a couple of blocks down the street to Red Dragon Tattoos. AA was reopened in Feb. '00. The line up was Jason, Josh Brown, George Archer, and David Boisineau. We had all worked with each other at Red Dragon and we realized that it was time for a change. In '01 we moved back down stairs into an expanded shop. In january '06 George left and moved down to Tantrum Tattoos in Petersburg. At that same time Brian Bruno came to work with us from Tattoo City in San Francisco. In december '06 Timothy Hoyer joined back up as well. In the fall of '07 TImothy moved to NYC and David moved to Oakland CA and now sucks cock.he loves it so much he cant stand it.dave says the whole world would be alot better if their cocks were in his mouth.Mike rennie took daves place and says he will kick his faggot ass.Most of the time we play country music and drink beer.Keith harper says things like"that girl looks like she wants here dick sucked.A IMG{ border-style:none; | |
