"Forgetting April" was started in 2006 as the experimental project of Marc Allan (Coldread, View Of a Burning City, Novena, Dead By Wednesday). Creating beautiful and thoughtful music, playing every instrument himself including Flute, Percussion, Vocals, Guitar ect...Equal parts romance and tragedy, the melodies have the tendency to ignite into a sad but accomplished sound. With Native American influences in almost every song Forgetting April uses emotion through the music. The collection of songs will be on the upcoming EP "Love, Hope, Creation" in late 2008. "Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught, will we realize that we can't eat money." |
