Our first release was: TR001 EYE OF THE BEHOLDER I (compilation CD) Sufjan Stevens, Songs:Ohia, Glen Hansard (The Frames), Tiger Saw, Jai Agnish and other great bands contributed previously unreleased songs. after that came: EYE OF THE BEHOLDER volumes 2 & 3: Devendra Banhart, Scout Niblett, Rivulets, Burd Early, Picastro, Silver Apples, Early Day Miners, Elephant Micah, Sodastream and scores of other fantastic bands pitched in to make some really nice compilations. In the meantime, we've released cassettes and CDs by: THE STRUGGLERS RACINGPAPERPLANES THEATH EVERYTHING IS FINE DEREK JOE BROCKETT BOO HISS RIVULETS as a split with MARC GARTMAN SARAH ASHER TIGER SAW SUPER FAMICOM In the Summer of 2004 we released a double disc set called: I AM A COLD ROCK. I AM DULL GRASS. A TRIBUTE TO WILL OLDHAM the double set was limited to 500 copies and sold out pretty fast. A year later we reissued a single disc version that was remastered and had different bands on it. Calexico, Iron and Wine, Jolie Holland, Mark Kozelek, Pinetop Seven, Unbunny, Court and Spark, Pink Nasty and others made this a really special release. In late 2005, Marc Manning (EIF) suggested doing a four-way split called: IF WE WERE TREES derek joe brockett, grumpy bear, everything is fine and theath all supplied songs only to be found on this collection. I liked the four-way split idea so much that we decided to continue on and have since released: IF WE WERE OCEANS (kristofer astrom, racingpaperplanes, boy omega, two times the trauma) - all Swedish! IF WE WERE MOONS (carbonic, boo hiss, tiny vipers, viking moses) IF WE WERE GHOSTS (pink nasty, the strugglers, the black swans, the virginia reel) |
