| ..The Cumshots come from Oslo, Norway, and to be honest, Norway probably doesn’t want them to. Getting famous all over the world after having 2 people fucking on stage during a festival in the south of Norway has only added to their already shady reputation.They got together during the final months of the last century feeling something had to be done. All the fun seemed to have vanished from the metal scene, and Norway looked to be the "ground zero" of pure metal idiocy. By God we were a nation of pathetic, underfed nitwits. Every make-up-wearing crossdresser in the country was the critics favourite, and none of them looked to be having more fun than your everyday 80’s gothfan. Well the Cumshots has had their share of fun, and they didn’t have to look like idiots to get it. After 3 albums, one of which ("Norwegian Jesus") was nominated for the Norwegian grammys, winning the unofficial World Championships of rock in Bilbao, hundreds of concerts and generally raising havoc wherever anybody dares to book them they are still going strong. Nothing short of a miracle, considering the beatings they have taken on their everlasting quest to destroy themselves, physically and mentally, when on stage. The amount of time spent in emergency rooms after shows have postponed way too many afterparties for the handsome quintet. But as they so charmingly put it themselves: "We are the true cancer of Norwegian metal. We will never go away. Never." And they won’t.
