Girls Gone Wild? C'mon boys, get REAL! Sexy is a girl who can play lead guitar! Guitar Goddess? Sounds like a tall order to fill, but Cathy Zebron doesn't try to play lightning fast like Steve Vai, Van Halen or Yngwie Malmsteen. She prefers subtlety over shock value. Guitarists like David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page and of course Clapton, these are the guitar gods the Guitar Goddess prays to. Not to mention the powerful rock vocalists/preachers that she emulates: Janis Joplin, Mark Farner, Freddie Mercury, Anne Wilson and even Bonnie Raitt. Nashville is a great place to learn from the best. You can see Cathy perform live with other Nashville songwriters around town as well as catch her playing her own tunes at writer's nights and venues.
