Slippin Promo Vid idea 1 Add to My Profile | More Videos Get ready everybody Nebula101 have arrived! You have been warned! Unpredictable, Muso Freaks, Off the rails, hippie chicks are the best ways to describe these three girls. The band which was put together by British/Canadian Melissa P who’s other members American/British Heidi Jo Hines who is from a real Rock’ N Roll background and Rock’ N Roll royalty got most of her musical genes from her father Denny Laine who was in “ Moody Blues and even famously Wings with Sir Paul McCartney. The missing link to the bands jigsaw puzzle became the last member to join London girl Charlotte Jackson . The flavours of each member is different but the goal is the same and the chemistry is real and you will find nothing but charisma from these girls and you also hear and feel it in the music which smacks you in the face. Rock today is, and has been dominated by male bands. Most female bands out there are either very pop dominated or R&B dance type bands. Nebula101 don’t fall into any of those catagories. It makes the battle to get out there harder but more of a challenge and there is room for anything. They have the philosophy “ anything is possible”. The Production is done by Danish Producer Pete" Paleface" Ibsen and the girls have written with Sacha Skarbek ( James Blunt “Your Beautiful” ), and work out of Kensal Town studios. Yes, like everyone else they have influences which may crop up in the sound but they don’t seek to fit into any mould , They just do what they like and hope that others like it to.There are misconceptions that the girls cannot play any instruments as the promo- video on their myspace page doesn’t show that side of them. But the band had been focusing on their vocal being the main instrument and are behind the scenes trying to master their playing skills. Melissa on the guitar, Heidi on the guitar and Charlotte can plaing the keyboard. Melissa and Heidi have been the ones to come up with most of the music and have wrote the lyrics to every song ( other then " Wanna Be Your Dog") . So far they have had a good response to their music and are building a solid fanbase. In a years time the girls hope to have a successful album and to be performing somewhere in the world on stage playing with all the hotboys ..beware!!
