About Me |

The music has been characterized as a huge melting pot of different movements such as Postpunk, Art-rock, Punk, Indie, Lo-Fi, Noise-Pop and Rock. This is not far from the truth. Through catchy guitar-riffs, pulsing rhythms and pure sonical noise, the audience are shown a world where mabey Sonic Youth, Interpol and The Strokes shake hands. After several gigs in Norway during 2006, including a support-tour with Low Frequency in Stereo, Hypertext were finally done producing their debut album ”Corrente Elektro”. Self released on their own EmelieRecords label and distributed through Granat the album has already received numerous favourable reviews and has lead to extended touring in 2007. The near future is dedicated to touring, abroad as well as in Norway, in an attempt to conquer more hearts and soul with their love for music.
