Han editado 2 discos y un DVD/CD en vivo que documenta en video la historia del grupo en sus inicios. Disidente como uno de los grupos mas representativos del rock actual en español. Han realizado una gran cantidad de conciertos por la Republica Mexicana y Estados Unidos (alternando con grupos como Cafe tacvba, Attaque 77, The Mars Volta, The Sounds, Incubus, The Bravery y Smashing Pumpkins por mencionar algunos) y en festivales como el Vive latino, Corona Music Fest y Rockcarga entre otros. Disidente melt loud and heavy guitars with emotional melodies then Disidente’s songs are a mix of punk atitude and sensibility with a sharp sense of rock songwriting. They have released two albums and in addition to their recorded output, Disidente has released a live concert documentary film/video called "Fin del mundo en n dia normal" "We feel that what we play and what we say isn’t tied down to one place, and that our view of the world is shared by people everywhere. Therefore everywhere is where we will be". The band performed a number of live shows in Mexico before the release of their debut album "...y si tuviera disquera" (if i had a record label). The album received critical praise, and got extensive airplay. Playing alongside a number of great and diverse bands (Cafe tacvba, Attaque 77, The Mars Volta, The Sounds, Incubus, The Bravery and Smashing Pumpkins) just to name a few) and festival’s, (Vive latino, Corona Music Fest, Rockcarga) they showed their ability to excite different crowds from one night to the other.
