| Phatts McNatt- A two man group that got this distinctive sound by conglomerating a vast amount of their influences into a funnel that is constantly evolving and digesting their musical hypotheses. They have taken different recipes from the Red hots, Fishbone and Primus. They have then taken aromatic and flavorfull spices from all around the world from the likes of Aierto Moreira, Ray Brown, Horacio Hernandez, Herbie Hancock, The Police, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Aphex Twin, Parliament, Bootsy Collins, Trilok Gurtu, DJ Shadow, Miles Davis, Freddy Hubbard, Eric Dolphy, Bjork, Living Colour, Paul chambers, Elvin Jones, Kenny Garret, Steve Gadd, Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Dre and Snoop, along with many, many others - construing them together ending up in a thick, chowder-like mass of groove oriented , wrongfully right, high octane sounds. | |
