PARAGONYX ENTERTAINMENT INC. is a unique music marketing and promotions company geared toward independent bands and musicians and their fans all over Canada and especially in Toronto. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible through music. PARAGON is especially known for 19 plus band competitions but also holds concerts for unsigned and signed bands and singers; as well as all-ages band competitions & 19 plus singer/songwriter competitions in Toronto and Ontario. PARAGON also runs indoor and outdoor festivals in Toronto the latest of which is coming your way April 2008. **Judging: In all of our competitions, our final and preliminary judges are credible music industry professionals which include: Record Company A & R, Distinguished Record Producers, Famous Musicians and Celebrities, Booking Agents. Past judges have included: Justin Gray, Brian Heatherman, Eric Elper,Trevor Boris, Brandon Gray, Joel Kazmi, Joe Kresta, Kori Skeffington and many more. An interesting component of our judging is that bands get to keep their judging sheets at the end of the night if they wish to do so.Criteria for judging: Overall talent (musicianship, band cohesiveness etc.) Originality Attitude/Stage presence SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THESE EVENTS!! |
