About Me |

Hi there my name is Sera Rabbett. I've been playing live for several years, gigging pubs, playing festivals and busking up and down the country. I've supported artists like 'Seize The Day' and Duke Special and even set up free parties as well as been a stage manager at various other festivals. I've long admired Ani Difranco, her unique musical style and determination to promote herself independently! Wailinghippie began as an idea for a label name to distrubute my music under. More recently becoming more of a promotional thing. I still hope to set up a label and plan to be in the near future! Over the past 3 years I've been really involved learning live sound engineering. Mostly at festivals where I was stage manager and events I helped set up. I now hope to invest some of that knowledge I gained, by doing some live recordings that capture and utilize natural acoustics! So far I've recorded 2 demo's, 1 album and engineered as well as co-produced my recent E.P Extended Play. At the moment I've jus finished setting up a new website which is www.serasong.com I as well as my web mistress, citrus girl, will be up dating it regularly! So watch this space the evolution continues......
