| I am a singer, songwriter, performer from the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up in England and moved to the Oakland- Berkeley East Bay when i was 12 ... Started playing in bands at 15 and am still doing it , performing and recording regularly ..... My musical tastes vary greatly so i tend to be in several very different sounding groups at the same time .....20's and 30's early cabaret jazz tunes to power pop-new wave-punk rock to soundtrack moody torch songs to dark chamber pop to girl group kitsch. Songs are important to me as is harmony ,sounds and atmosphere, but also being a bit silly sometimes, 'cos music is supposed to be fun!! :)***** Music Groups that I am in or have been in --- , Stara Nova, Dance Hall Crashers, Jezebelle, Mr.Lonesome and The Bluebelles, Mixtape*****Also guested on records by NOFX, Hepcat, No use for a name ,Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, The Effection, Limp, Garth Steel Klippert, Hi Standard....******CURRENTLY working on recordings and shows of some of the bands above and SOLO MATERIAL...TBA....By the way - PLEASE dont be mad if i dont write you back! unless I know you i may not get to it....but -thanks for checking in! ...more to come | |
