------------------------------------------------------------ ---------- ENGLISH The Hall Effect was formed at the end of 2004. They were previously known as D-MIC, name that was changed early on 2006 due to changes in their line up and in their music structure. Since Their formation they have been focused on creating a unique sound by combining all their influences and mixing them into one. The Result, a very interesting musical approach to what is called now as "New Brit Rock", but with some additional features that makes the whole thing step aside from other "Brit" sounding Bands. The band has played in all the major pubs and Bars in Bogota, and has earned a very well known reputation as one of the best live acts of the city. Shock magazine awarded them as "Best Rock Band" in their 2006 Awards, and with the success of their EP "Become", the band launched their first LP "Aim At Me" at the begining of 2007, gaining respect from all the music biz and sending their video "Aim At Me" right to the number 1 spot on MTV Latin Rock Countdown. At this moment the band is launching the second single of their debut album, a song called "Unpure" and preparing a video for it. Also a National and International Tour is planned for the future. ESPAÑOL Formado a finales del 2004. Eran conocidos anteriormente como D-MIC, nombre que fue cambiado a principios del 2006 debido a cambios en su formacion y su musica. Desde su formacion se han enfocado en crear un sonido unico combinando todas sus influencias y mezclandolas en una. EL resultado, una muy interesante propuesta musical de lo que es llamado hoy en dia "New Brit Rock", pero con rasgos adicionales que hacen que se salga un poco de el sonido que normalmente tienen otras bandas "brit". Han tocado en todos los pubs y bares mas importantes de Bogota, y se han ganado una muy buena reputacion como uno de los mejores actos en vivo de la ciudad. Fueron reconocidos por la revista Shock como la mejor banda Rock nacional en la edición de sus premios anuales del 2006. Despues de agotar las 300 copias limitadas de su EP "Become" y promocionar el video de este mismo, la banda lanzó a principios del 2007 su primer LP "Aim At Me"; del cual su primer single titulado de la misma manera alcanzó los primeros lugares de los listados radiales del pais y su video llego al numero 1 del conteo Rock del canal MTV.
