About Me |

Six Gun Lullaby was formed in the summer of 2005 in a living room in Nashville. The band, which includes Claire Adams, Tiffany Minton, and Martin Schneider, composes all of their songs collaboratively. The most noted element about their band is their intentional lack of bass guitar. Their art stems from a somewhat Nietzschen approach to the philosophy of art. To intentionaly restrict your art may seem absurd to many, but there can be no way of freeing your sound from it's naturalization if you do not first limit yourself to what is most capricious: the bass. This idea is the basis of their music. To fulfill their low-end, Six Gun Lullaby fill their music with huge sonic landscapes and sounds reminiscent of the No Wave music scene in New York.
