Lizzie Nunnery is a 25 year old singer songwriter. Following the self release of her EP, "Monkeys and Devils" in 2006 she has played a host of venues around the UK including supporting J.D Souther, Little Feat, Jim Moray and Tobias Froberg. She has made several appearances on BBC Radio, including a live performance on BBC Radio 3. She was the BBC Liverpool unsigned artist of the month for November 2006 and is also an award winning playwright, with her most recent stage play, "Intemperance" receiving a 5 star review in the Guardian. She is currently under commission to BBC Radio 4 to write a play with songs entitled, "The Singer". Her eagerly anticipated second EP, "Hungry" was released in March, 2008.

It’s a performance that begins to reveal some of the best songs of the evening, as well as some innovative arrangements. Lizzie interlaces her solid strums with sublime, picked passages, mixing in her vocals which sit somewhere not too far away from Kate Bush. She’s onto a winner when the Ukulele is whipped out to summon up a superbly minimalistic turn. “Moving With The Moon” is perhaps one of her classiest songs as it proves all these points admirably and confidently.
