We can take it in our hearts but not let it stab us. start good new days everyday and maybe have some family over as well, don't forget the babies, dogs, friends, and new knowledge every bit we can take in....k...so if thats not enuff mushy honesty. here's my backround. went to NYU, did well, caused a bit of trouble in the city, lost 2 friends by '96 and no not in a forest or sea.at 19 (back in the day)went into the music business. Promoted parties like "Problem Child" one of the best with respected legends left n right. At the same time, out at Jellybean Records, fun learnin where or who i could be one day. Within a place where dreams came to those there, and still do...Worked Ultra records '97 Nat'l Promotion Dir. Great tours with Sasha, Northern Exposure I & II, then Twilo start. And the best road managed tours with V Classic I & II legends Jumpin'Jack Frost, Bryan Gee and a few stops into Roni Size and Reprazent. Again a Twilo start. Mad respect to all of you.Next into Logic '99 Nat'l Promotions, Project mgr. (R.I.P.) my boss then, Kelly, who passed on from food poisoning (not funny). Worked the begining of the spoiled boy band, forgot the name. Then with some right on German TomCraft, Da Hool, Tom Novy then off to Love Parade in Berlin. Made more moves road managing through the states.Took a break then came back home to work Nervous Records. All i have to say is, thank you Michael, Julie, Kevin, jason, yoshi & the rest. GReat Party we did at A/X and others. Plus all the dance hits we worked! WWWHHHHAAATTT!Final stop in the states ended at Priority Records...9/11 told me something.Hello sunshine! Worked a season in Subliminal Sessions at Pacha, with the respected Mr. Morillo. Many lessons learned, a brief move for the winter to Germany then cancer and i am back here.A friend once told me after all my experience, this all would come to something. It has. Survivin'it all, lovely memories, wonderful music, people and most of all....givin'it back through my cancer organization. hadfm.org |
