| Randy Leago is a grizzled veteran of the Nashville music scene, scarred and torn from being dragged from the middle-of-the-road to the far left field, then to the dark end of the street (but never the right side of the road.) Some people think he is a keyboardist, some people see him play all manner of saxes and woodwinds. Sometimes he plays a battery of stringed instruments from the guitar to the Indian sitar and the Brasilian cavaquinho. Far too many cases. You can hear him exclusively on his two self-produced CDs. His newest recording, titled simply "Randy Leago," is available for download at the iTunes store (www.apple.com/itunes/store) and on CD at cdbaby.com/randyleago....and you can see him on tour with Shelby Lynne, Kathy Mattea and Deana Carter. In Nashville, find him on stage with lounge ensemble Aquavelvet, Steely Dan tribute band Twelve Against Nature, and a wide variety of other artists.He has toured, performed and recorded around the world with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Janis Ian,Raul Malo, Rodney Crowell, Carlene Carter, Bob Seger, Brooks and Dunn, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, Toby Keith, Guster, Engelbert Humperdinck and many others.
