Heroes:I think my biggest hero would be myself. I have come along way since I was in High School. I would have never seen myself joining the military and spending a year away from my family to goto Iraq to defend our country. But all in all i would not trade that experiance for anything. Yes it was hard being away from my family for so long and missing so much in my kids lives. But I had the full support of my whole family and I was lucky that I could call them just about everyday to let them know that I was still alive and doing well. I did my service to my country and got to see a part of the world that most people only see on T.V. and even then they only see the good parts of it. I experianced some things on that deployment that changed the way I saw things some good and some bad but overall it was a good experiance for me and I would go back if I was asked to do it again. I know it is hard on my family but in the overall picture it benefits them more.You Are 98% American You're as American as red meat and shooting ranges. Tough and independent, you think big. You love everything about the US, wrong or right. And anyone who criticizes your home better not do it in front of you! How American Are You? |
