| Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little tale... if somebody told you I was just your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied.
Enough with the movie quotes... My friends call me Sam, The Lord of Distraction. I'm as incredibly distracting as I am easily distracted. I'm the one who shows up at your house on while you're trying to get work done going "Whoa! Babe! We so gotta go to Costco" or "OMG it's time to get Milkshakes (they have 20 different flavours and make it from real Ice-Cream) and Burgers at Rocko's" or (even worse) "Hey we gotta ride the Albian ferry just for fun." I drive a gas sipping little Civic and it's not beyond me to take a 45min jaunt into Vancouver just to feed my sushi craving. Apart from my free-spirited ways and my mad passion for living... I love Photography. It is my life and my passion. I love capturing every moment from the majestic to the ordinary. I am a semi-professional photographer and I do a couple of commercial assignments each month. Several of my friends have had their MySpace photos done by me. Shameless Plug: I do weddings, band publicity, events, portraiture, and stock photography. I love Dancing. I do the East Coast Swing but I'm trying to learn the LindyHop. When I have more time, I would also like to learn the Tango and Salsa. I love Knowledge. I can be found hanging out at the library absorbing vast amounts of information at amazing rates. I am such an information junkie. I also have a moderately out of control addiction to Amazon.ca and I tend to buy books faster than I can read them. I love Food. Bribe me with really good food and I can be induced into doing almost anything. I really love Sashimi and various types of Exotic Cheeses. |
