I sold weird records to people to raise money to finally put something out on the label, which came a few years later with the Pocket Fishrmen 7" "The Leader Is Burning" which turned out to be a big favorite of legendary BBC DJ John Peel, and was even featured in a recent BBC documentary about Peel's record case. When the indie world became incredibly glutted with labels around 1991, Noiseville stopped putting out records and started working with music related artists. Noiseville published and sold the works of many artists like Frank Kozik, Gary Gilmore, Ron English, Steve Cerio and many others. Noiseville was an art gallery in NYC for 3 years in the Chelsea section of the city. In 2004, it was decided that Noiseville would once again release music. The response to the label's return has been overwhelming. Since 2005 Noiseville has released over 30 records and CDs.
