I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace) In the Begining ..... I started playing bass when I was 24. I first realized that I might have some music talent when my step-grandfather played a song on the organ in my living room and I picked it up quick,I was 12 at the time. My mother could not afford to get me a guitar or bass, but I did play the organ for awhile. Then in 1990 I bought my first bass. The first couple of years were really tough, but with a lot of lessons and playing all the time, I learned to play it right. Then in 1992 I met James Bond and I joined his band. It was called Zen Leather. In 1994, Ron Gorman and I formed a band called Wings in Fate. We recruited my cousin Todd Nelson and Pat Birdsell. We changed the name to Straitjacket. In 1995, Pat, Todd and I left Ron and found a new drummer named Eddie. Then we put out an ad and we got Ray Coon on vocals. In 1996, we fired Eddie and got Phil Barber. This line up lasted about a year and a half. In 1999, Pat and I formed Rotten Brats. We put out an ad for a singer and Connie answered the ad. Tony Juarez joined on drums about three months later. Jerry Funk joined about six months after that. At the same time I played in another band called Side Affect. In this band there was Ray Coon, Greg, Chris Crawford, and myself. Both of those bands ended about a year Later. Then I joined a cover band and we played about two months. In this band was Ray Coon, Chris Crawford, Jeff, and myself.
