Frequently Asked Questions: Please READ THIS BEFORE YOU EMAIL US! Many of the questions you have about Legends Championship Wrestling are probably answered in this FAQ. Any questions asked via email that are answered in this FAQ will not be answered via email! Q: When is Legends Championship Wrestling on TV? What channel? What time? A: Legends Championship Wrestling is not available on television as it is an online fantasy wrestling organization. However, LCW Showdown "television" results are posted every Wednesday afternoon on LCWShowdown.com. --- Q: Do you run a wrestling school? Where is there a wrestling school near me? A: As this is an online fantasy wrestling organization, the answer would be no. We don't run a wrestling school. --- Q: Why isn't [Deceased Wrestler, i.e., Curt Hennig, Ravishing Rick Rude, Big Boss Man, Andre The Giant, etc.] or [Contracted WWE/TNA Wrestler, i.e., Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels] on the Legends Championship Wrestler roster? A: Legends Championship Wrestling doesn't feature deceased wrestlers out of respect to their memories and their legacy. We don't want to write a storyline that would offend said memory or legacy or their families. As for wrestlers contracted to WWE or TNA or heavily featured on their television programs, we prefer to feature legends not see on WWE or TNA programming every week. Also, as wrestlers appear or disappear on WWE or TNA programming they will also appear or disappear from Legends Championship Wrestling. --- Q: How is someone like Superstar Billy Graham, or other wrestlers like him who can't wrestle anymore, on the Legends Championship Wrestling roster? A: We write most of the characters as if they are still in their prime. So Superstar Billy Graham, who in real life can't walk without a cane, is as powerful and impressive as he was as WWWF World Champion in 1977. Or The Dynamite Kid, who in real life is confined to a wheelchair, is as technically sound and proficient as when he was a member of The British Bulldogs in 1986. However, the past history of the business is not ignored. While we might use Hulk Hogan as Hulk Hogan circa 1988, we don't ignore that he was a member of the n.W.o., 10 years later. By mousing over a legend's name on the roster, you can see what year the legend is featured from in Legends Championship Wrestling. Circa is defined as an approximate or estimated date. In Legends Championship Wrestling, this is important as it helps to identify which year, approximately, the featured legends are wrestling under. As we said before, in LCW, Superstar Billy Graham isn't a man in his 60s who can't walk without the support of a cane. No, in LCW, Superstar Billy Graham is as vital and active as he was in 1977 when he won the WWWF Championship from Bruno Sammartino. (However, Bruno Sammartino and the other Board of Directors appear as they are today in real life. They are the most respected members of the roster and have been honored with positions on the decision making Board of Directors.) --- Q: Is Legends Championship Wrestling an interactive e-fed? A: No. All you can do is follow the storylines and hopefully find them entertaining. However, we do encourage our fans to leave comments on the show such as what they like, what they didn't like, or what they'd like to see. --- Q: Who writes the storylines for Legends Championship Wrestling? A: All storylines are written by Christian Calaway who also acts as storyline Chairman of the Board. He gets help with the website and the MySpace page, but all storylines come from him and his mind. While he does seek advice from several advisers and always welcomes input from the audience, the final decisions on character, storyline and company direction rest with him alone. --- Q: What is the point of Legends Championship Wrestling? A: This is a two-part answer. 1) To honor the living legends of professional wrestling who aren't working for one of the big organizations regularly seen on television and to keep them fresh in our minds and memories through our storylines. 2) Most importantly, to entertain you: the fans! |
