[626] 229-9883 I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 ! It seems as if Nina Lares was predestined to have her voice resonate to the soulful grooves of house music. Nina was born in Hollywood CA during the disco explosion. Her father spun vinyl for indie radio station & nightclubs while her young mother danced till dawn as Nina kicked to the beat in the womb! The musical influence her parents instilled in her had a profound impact on her life.Nina began singing in church at age 11 and continued to pursue her singing career at the prestigious Los Angeles County High School For The Arts. Her first house music experience dates back to the early nineties. Nina would religiously tape Richard humpty Vissions after hours dance music radio show Powertools and sing along to India, Barbara Tucker, Murk, and deelite. She knew at a young age her heart was in House Music, because Discos in her blood!Nina put out her first dance record at the age of 17, I Need Somebody (To Love Me) In 1999 she joined forces with Richard Vission as the voice of the Soultronik project The Muzik. She met Eddie Amador while promoting her record with Richard, and Nina & Eddie went on to do several projects together. Im So High Yoshitoshi, MOCHICO Treat Love is and Shake It! also on Yoshitoshi. Her most recent collaborations are "I wish You Well" with Eddie Amador & Rod Carillo on Nervous records, "Sunrise" with Mike Acosta, and "6pm" with Kings of Tomorrow's Sandy Rivera. Nina joined forces with Mike on the Sunrise Project for Miswax Records. Sunrise is featured on Beatport & iTunes. The song 6pm is featured on House Musics Living Legend Sandy Rivera's (aka Kings Of Tomorrow) fulllength album Trouble, and is also released as a single. These hot tracks exude a soulful passionate voice that's becoming a HOUSEhold name in dance music!! |
