When I was young, being a singer never crossed my mind. I was always able to sing, but I never thought about what I wanted for myself, I just did what was expected of me. Born & raised in Pittsburgh, my parents came to the United States from Ghana before I was born. There was no question that I would go to college and get a degree. So that's what I did. At that point, I reached a crossroads in my life. I wasn't doing what made me happy. I wasn't living my passion and that's when I started writing songs. I found out I wasn't half bad....LOL!!! I want to take my singing career to the next level. I believe I have something that the world needs to hear and I'm gonna perservere until I reach my goal!! Perserverance = "Persisting in or remaining constant to a purpose, idea or task in spite of obstacles." |
