The band have also announced that they will be appearing at this years Isle of Wight Festival which runs from the 13th - 15th June. During 2007 the band wrote and demoed songs for the new album and saw Mark Ronson’s version of Valerie (from Tired Of Hanging Around) become a smash hit across the globe and end as one of the Top Ten selling singles of the year in the UK. On making the new album, lead singer/guitarist Dave McCabe adds. "At first I was a bit scared at the thought of going to LA to make this album because we've never been away to record before. Since we've got here it's been sound though, we've been buzzing off the Americans, it's taken our heads to a different place and it's brought us closer together. Sometimes you have to go a million miles away or get on a plane for ten hours to get closer together. George (the producer) is funny as fuck, he's like a walking jukebox and he's getting a good vibe in the room. It definitely feels different with an American producer than what we're used to and I think that's a good thing for us now."
