| .........I am a skateboarder currently living in Sacramento, CA. I started skateboarding in 1993. I got my first complete from 'skatesports' in San Rafael, CA for christmas of 1992. I have lived in Bellingham, Washington for 8 years which started in '93/94 when I got a snowboard for christmas. Snowboarding has been an influence of my skating. While living in the northwest, I was able to skate in Vancouver, BC; and Seattle, WA which are both great cities to skate in if the weather is dry. While moving to Sacramento in 2002 I was able to stop in Portland, OR and skate at Burnside. While living in Sacramento, I was able to save money for a trip to Barcelona for three months in 2005. Barcelona is the best city in the world for skateboarding and beyond. I love skateboarding for so many reasons, my advise to any one is to have fun and break away from the group mentallity, and focus on yourself. A militant mentallity is one that is focused. Television:Harold Hunter & the Zoo York mixtape were a big influence on my skating and the state of mind I bring to the board. |

Heroes:when I started skateboarding in 92/93 in Marin county, EMB was on the frontline of skateboarding. When I moved to Washington state IN 93/94 I got a copy of the skate video: 'TIM & HENRY'S PROMO' from the skate shop Washington Wind Sports.Now that I live in Sacramento, I have met Henry over 10 years later. It's dope to watch Henry skate, because his style is fresh, and his style is consistant, or it has remained the same. Style in skateboarding to me is the way a skater approaches a trick, and the way a trick is landed. Style also extends into the tricks a skater chooses, and the clothing that a skater wears. This was the first skateboard magazine I ever had. My mom bought it for me at safeway while I was in the fifth grade while on vacation in Tahoe city, CA. |
