| FAITHFULL Bio: Thanks for finding the time to read Faithfull's (not that long but, anyway...) story. It started in 2001, when Rui Martins met Sérgio Sabino. At the time, Rui had spent some time composing and had a bunch of tunes ready to rock. Sabino was singing with a band but he decided that he would like to be the voice of those songs. It took just a couple of months to record a demo cd and put up a real stage band. Fortunately, it was also a quick step to get a record deal, with the spanish label Vinny Records. The band entered studio in March, 2003, with producer Luís Barros (Tarantula, Barros Project) at the Rec'n Roll studios... With a licensing deal to Asia with the japanese Marquee/Avalon, Faithfull's first effort saw the light of day on the 21st November. One month later, the guys were thrilled to know that "Light this City" was album of the month at "Burrn!" Magazine (Japan) and that it was placed at 11th on the japanese hard'n heavy chart. The release was followed by an extensive national tour (check out the pictures section). After some changes, the current line-up is Rui Martins (guitars), Sérgio Sabino (vocals), Sérgio Ramos (drums) and Mário Barbosa (bass). We spent part of 2006 composing and recording a new demo cd at Rui's home studio and the second album, entitled "Horizons" was released on May 20th, 2008 by US label Perris Records.
