Music:Most types of country. I can't stand alot of this commercial crap today and you gotta be pretty damn good to get away with it. Southern rock, Rockabilly, Alternative country, Bluegrass (I LOVE Ricky Scaggs)and Americana, old classic country (Willie, Waylon, Johnny, Hank Sr and Jr are some of my favorites). I was raised on country, so most any of it is good, except for commercial bs. Any rap or hip hop that comes from the heart and doesn't talk about club image, 20 inch rims, riding dirty, etc is also damn good. DMX, Tupac, Ice Cube and Ice T are my favorites in this genre. Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Rob Thomas, Third Eye Blind and similar types are good. Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed and anything that puts me in the mood for mayhem is good (Pantera, of course, because they are from Texas!) |
