About Me |

I've been getting a lot of mail recently from people asking me to release something of their band. Don't even bother, I only release bands I know and like and have had communication with for long periods of time. If you're looking for a label to help get your name out and get you established... look somewhere else. If you mail me and don't get a response, re-read this paragraph. Mortville started in 1997 after a handfull of Captain Three Leg demos and 2 compilations. I wanted to do things on a bigger scale, release vinyl and get it out to more than 200 people. I've since changed the focus of my label to noisier stuff, shorter runs and have returned full circle to the pre-Mortville ways of doing releases, hand made - but on a shiny 5" metal format instead. You'll find grindcore, noisecore, power-violence, punk and hardcore on Mortville, and all sub genres between.
