Nicola Miller AKA Flick has been involved in various projects within the music industry for the past 5 years, starting off by cameoing in videos for various artists. It was in 2006 after being involved with the girl group, Tommi, writing tracks and providing the group with backing vocals that they decided to do a joint project under the name F.A.T (Flick and Tommi). F.A.T then went on to do a joint mini tour with Fundamental and other artists in 2007.During this period Flick wrote various tracks for the group resulting in the girls putting out videos for three of these tracks 'Release The Beat', 'Homepage' and the latest video named 'Late'. These videos were featured on various music channels such as MTV Base and Channel U and the songs were played on various radio stations such as Choice FM.Flick and Tommi cameoed in various artist's video's during this period as well as started individual modelling projects for MO-AM models, it was here that Flick along with two of the other girls, Juice and Peeks, featured in a full page spread of Black Beauty Magazine in 2007.While the video 'Late' is currently being played on Channel U reaching number 5 in the urban chart the project has now ended and Flick and Tommi have parted ways, still remaining the closest of friends and supporting each other in their individual projects.Flick is currently studying a BA in Psychology as well as also writing a book called 'The Exchange' and will continue to follow her passion and write and produce music with various artists within the industry as well as follow her interest in poetry by writing a poetry book. |
