"Girls will break your Heart!" used to be my Motto...At last, I can finally say "Eureka" Giving all praise and honor to Him for putting all of this on me & introducing me to a whole new spectrum of lyfe. For so long I have waited, ponderining anxiously to discover the reasons why I had such an intense feeling of lonliness.....Why was it so hard to develop & maintain a relationship. I have learned that being single is an important period to prepare our hearts for marriage or a substantial relationship that could lead to the same. It can also be a time to experience a closer communion with God. Often times we are unknowingly seeking God to purify us of the world and help us become the idolized wife or husband that would bless our relationships, as we are taught in the New Testament, we will surely find that we are not lonely. With patients and faith in God's planning and timing, He will bless us with a wonderful mate in that you and your mate’s relationship can be a witness for Him. I honestly believe, if a relationship cannot glorify the Lord, then perhaps it would be best to remain alone. More often than not, we constantly put ourselves in much worse positions than of being alone. Because she’s hot, he has a good job, everybody is trying to “shoot” at him/her, or the all time Famous: We compare the new with the old and measure the odds against an anfractous “plumb line”. A position to be out of God's will by settling for mediocrity and dating to marrying someone who does not feel the same way you do about the Lord.................I have learned Many valuable principals during the course of my life....For a while I was so upset at my first (the only love of my life at the time,the love I had has since swiftly passed, I am Free) then myself for the way things had turned out. How could I have been so torn from God to have her at the center of my Lyfe. I have been single for the past 3+ years, fictitiously drawing up quixotic justifications for it's outcomes, precariously trying to discover the objectivity in my trials...... So much has happend in my life for the duration of the era, I call it in "Era" because it alludes to an epidemic. An epidemic of my lifetime of too many 'ALMOSTS'. Almost homeless, Almost not finsihing school, Almost getting caught up in the street, to the Passing of my eldest sister: Iris C. Greene 9/11/79-3/15/07....LIFE COMES AT YOU FAST! During the process of celebrating the life of my oldest sister....I have meet a really great and proven dear friend......This friend in which I speak of has given me so much insight from a spiritiual and personal perspective. I am truly blessed that God has brought me to her. Through the strength of the Lord and the wisdom she has shared..... I have since recognized the APPERCEPTION for life & death.......as they hath thus begun to unveil itself before me and I now begin to Grow!For the Record, as many have asked...I am still SINGLE & I AM NOT IN LOVE! "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matt. 11:28-30). That scripture has consoled the hearts of plenty, yet they are only words that all to entirely modulate comforting and for lack of a better word are worthless, unless believed to be true. If they are true, how can we apply them to our lives? How can we walk free from these burdens that weigh us down so repeatedly? Now often it seems practically impossible to avoid STRESS. At least there is a plethora of nonbelievers carrying some amount of it, in varying degrees. How is it we find it increasingly difficult to survive in the world we live in. So desperate we are, seeking relief for our problems through any remedy in arms reach yet no one is reaching for Him. Our young people inundated with self-help books, therapists, time-management workshops, massage parlors, and recovery programs. I want "simpler" way of life, I’m doing me….. but no one seems to even know exactly what that means, or how to attain it. The first thing we must do to be free from our stress and our worry is to allow Jesus to take the reigns on our life. Without Jesus, our life has no real direction or depth. We often bounce from one activity to the next, casting about to fill our lives with purpose, peace, and happiness. I'd like to meet:Well....God EXPECTS you to practice your Faith at all times, So.....I would like to meet Him but not before He has called me. In that I may execute his works, Charged unto me to do befittingly as to the MARK etched in my Trestled Board by hands of The very G.A.O.T.U...... therein the Book of Revelations. I pray that I may discern between my Rights and Wrongs through Him and NOT on my own theory of reasoning, That I may fulfill his Will by the Sound of His Last CALL! |
