| Cambridge’s finest, AKA Iyedouble, is 18 plus years in the making (musically). Featured on such highly acclaimed underground projects like Mr. Lif’s Enter The Colossus and KRS One’s latest, Keep Right, this Cambridge born -Boston based emcee is literally incomparable. Incorporating the patois slang of the West Indies along with intricate word play and the old school chat of urban folk world wide, Illin’ P displays the unique and true definition of literary art while keeping it “grounded” in terms of subject matter as well as stature.
Having contributed works for a number of independent projects including two films, Illin’ P has chiseled his signature in the cornerstone of Boston hip-hop. Though time and experience has earned him the status of “local vet”, this “national neophyte” has been nominated for two Boston Music Awards (best new rap artist/ best rap single). Pick up his latest 12” single release entitled “Bolero” b/w "All We Know" (Ill Boogie Records) which features the likes of Boston legend Ed O.G.
