| Kevin J. Scott is a bass player/composer from the San Francisco Bay Area. He started playing bass as a youngster, taking private lessons and attending music camps. In high school, he was in the school jazz band and played bass for the award-winning Castlemont Castleers Choir at Castlemont High School in the early 1980s, and attended the College of Alameda to study under music director Bill Bell. Kevin also played for Bell’s group the Bell System.From 1989 – 2006 he was the bass player for Lenny Williams (former lead singer for Tower of Power) and also did live performances for Snoop Dogg, the Delfonics, Ali Woodson, the Temprees, and many others.An extremely versatile musician, Kevin’s styles range from R&B, Jazz and funk to rock and gospel.
