Yo, Thanks for checking me out here..it's Cutmasta LC aka Metro Beatz from MOCRadio.com & also member of the Core DJs at www.coredjs.com. Many folks in the industry & public may know me for the several things I do or have done in the music industry. I got my start in Lawrence,Mass (Bradford Projects!) djing house parties & mixtapes in the early 80's & moved to Greensboro,NC in the mid 80s & learned the art of production. I produced a local smash record in NC in 1987 & enjoyed the success but I decided to further my education in Atlanta. I gained lots of experience in the industry working in every aspect over the last 15 yrs from record distribution,retail promotion for Tommy Boy,record retail,radio mixshow at WQMG Greensboro,Music Of Class Mixtapes & was the resident DJ at Atlanta's legendary teen club-Club MBK which was the birthplace for CRUNK & for today's hot artists such as Outkast,Goodie Mob,Ludacris,Ying Yang Twins & Youngbloodz. Several mixtape fans throughout the east coast knew me for rocking the hottest underground mixtapes throughout the 90's & now you can check me out online Mon-Thurs at www.mocradio.com spinning Hip Hop,R&B,Reggae,Reggaeton,Old School & hot slow jams. In Miami,you can catch me live every Friday night at "The Local Underground" club downtown Miami & Saturday nights 1am-3am on Miami's No.1 Radio Station WHQT Hot 105......alson check me out in Boston on Touch 106 at 12:00pm & 5pm weekdays or you can catch me in Greensboro,NC on WNAA 90.1 on Sundays from 3pm-5pm for the "Chillmode" or catch me in Fayeteville,NC weekdays at 5pm on your drive home on Kiss 107.7. With all of that going on,I also head up the Urban Radio division for Clear Channel's Mediabase company in Los Angeles who publishes weekly airplay charts to USAToday,allaccess.com,urbaninsite.com & many more..so when you look at the charts..guess who's behind all of that..yours truly..so as you can see my life is all about music & records & if that's not enough work in the day..you can also catch me producing & remixing hot new tracks for various artists & working on my "Metro Beatz Project" featuring fresh underground hip hop & "feel good" house tracks..coming soon!
