| Well known in the experimental music underground under such names as DEATHPILE and ANGEL OF DECAY, Philadelphia's Jonathan Canady began to focus his creative efforts on visual art in early 2007. The subjects of sex and death have been central to his artistic output since childhood. Canady distills these themes to their simplest and most powerful elements to create the art he has spent a lifetime searching for. Despite the transgressive nature of his work he is no brooding sociopath. Canady's art is the counterpoint of his personality. He loves to laugh and to enjoy life in the shadow of death.
