| Hi! I am Chase. A nice lady from Tennessee found me a home all the way up in Rhode Island so I don't have to live on the street anymore. I have perfect, pearly white teeth. I am very, very handsome with one floppy ear, which gives me great character, or so my pet owner mommy and daddy say. I have a beautiful white ring around the end of my tail, kind of like a fox. My coat is thick and a little wiry, like a German Shepherd. I am off-white with brownish/red speckles along my back, and my ears are lined with brownish red. I am stunning!
I adore people. I'm a little worried about being around other doggies at first and would like to be the boss, but I get to be friends with them real fast. I love to be around cats, I don't think the cats like it very much because I am a great hunter. I know how to sit, stay, lay down, and shake. I am great on a leash--I don't pull, and if a tree gets between me and the person walking me, I go over to their side to go around the tree. I like to run and play catch.. me, if you can! I respond to "no" immediately. I don't jump all over very many people when I greet them--I just mosey up to them with my tail wagging and my pearly whites grinning. If I really like you I will jump up and try to give you a big wet kiss on the face. I love to jump around during playtime, but I'm not rough, just playful. I only chew my toys, and I prefer soft toys like ropes and stuffed animals. I love Dan and Lauren's socks. Rawhide bores me. I like to be inside with my family. I'll take all the lovin' anyone wants to give me, but I'm not an in-your-face dog. I'm content just to be in the same room with everybody. I usually sleep with Lauren in the bed, but I sleep facing the door--I protect my people from the bogeyman! I'm not much of a barker. I only talk if you really make me mad, like if you take my toy or to tell my family I'm worried about somthing. If Dan trys to give me a bath I run around like crazy and shake water all over him. Don't tell anyone, I let Lauren give me a bath when she wants, and I stay right in the tub like a good boy, I don't even shake water on her! It is so cold up here in Rhode Island, I love to eat the snow! |
