| Grazie Massimo,a te devo questa grande passione per la musica!!! Lui oggi non c’è più e con il suo ricordo nel cuore ho intrapreso un durissimo percorso da autodidatta che mi ha dato la possibilità di suonare tanto, in varie cover band prima di incontrare gli Abash. Il 20 Ottobre 2003 entro negli Abash, affascinato da un genere musicale insolito, ricco di influenze, energetico e trascinante. Oltre all’amore per la musica, negli Abash c’è anche una profonda amicizia che amalgama il tutto e che rende più entusiasmante il cammino della band. Al momento mi dedico anche all’insegnamento nella scuola di musica "Salento", dopo aver insegnato nella “Idruntum Art”, entrambe di Otranto. Ho seguito vari seminari , come quello svoltosi a Lecce da Frank Gambale e Maurizio Colonna nel luglio 2005…Che mito Gambale!! Naturalmente ho subito le benefiche influenze di altri Big della sei corde fra tutti Vai e Satriani, ma in generale mi influenza qualsiasi chitarrista che mi sappia dare delle emozioni. E come si fa con l’album del matrimonio… vi presento il mio setup costituito da quattro chitarre elettriche: una Ibanez RG470 modificata con pick-up Seymour Duncan ed una Ibanez FGM300DY (quella usata da Frank Gambale prima di passare a Yamaha), una Fender Stratocaster Deluxe 60th anniversary e una Godin LGXT; un preamplificatore Marshall JMP1; un multieffetto BOSS GX-700, un processore Boss Gt-8, ed un finale Peavey Classic 50 collegato ad una cassa 1x12 Marshall (la 1912). Inoltre utilizzo una chitarra acustica Godin multiac steel. Sono anche il chitarrista degli Shade Out (rock), Dafne (rock e acustico), Maiden 4 You (Tributo agli Iron Maiden). www.myspaceeditor.it |
