DREAM TURTLES - Sting Tribute Band LA BAND La band nasce nel 2004 con l'intento di ricreare la magica atmosfera dei concerti di Sting, con un mix di arrangiamenti raffinati e carica emotiva che da anni distinguono la musica di questo grande artista. Il repertorio ripercorre la vasta discografia di Sting, privilegiando il periodo da solista,senza trascurare comunque i più famosi successi dei Police. Il progetto prende vita inizialmente da Simone Fontolan (Basso e Voce) e Antonio Lanzillotti (Tastiere), amici musicisti con la comune passione per questo artista. Dopo una prima selezione del repertorio sono stati coinvolti Alberto Derossi (chitarrista dei Mistonocivo e collega di Antonio nella Band di L'aura e nella U.S.Band di Vittorio Matteucci) e Matteo Pescarolo (Paolo Belli Big Band) per definire in modo preciso gli arrangiamenti e le sonorità da utilizzare. L'ultimo musicista (solo in ordine di tempo) ad entrare nel gruppo è stato il batterista Graziano Colella Attualmente Il gruppo può proporre due tipi di spettacolo: Il primo dedicato a Sting nel periodo solista Il secondo più rock incentrato sul repertorio dei Police La grande passione per Sting unita alla professionalità ed esperienza dei musicisti della band garantiscono uno spettacolo emozionante e di qualità.
