In the music player above I am with the Bedlam Band in 1983 doing a 16 track analog album. I've been a professional rock and blues musician/drummer for most of my life. In the studio, and on stage or on tour. Picked up my first guitar in 1957, formed my first band in 1958 and started playing everywhere I could. Started playing bass guitar in 1960 and then moved to drums in 1961. Wrote and recorded my first single in 1963 "Magic in Your Eyes" and "Take a Walk" with the fab "Just Us Four". I have been involved with many other recording projects and played with many different bands (some known - some unknown). I've played rock, classic rock, country rock, blues, jazz, and big band standards. After 50 years in the business, I'm still rockin'. Although, mostly into production/songwriter/composer stuff now. I love music above all things. I'm also into writing, arranging, recording, playing my piano and drums, guitar and bass. Professionally, I'm a drummer. In the music player below, this is a first time "get together" to give the involved parties (that included me) a chance to check each other out. Never worked witb the guitar and bass man before. They were feeling out a new album project that would come a little later and gave me an invite. So we sat down in Burelson studio - the DAT was flipped on and we got busy. This is a raw, open room mic jam. No mix down. |
