Uma nova interpretação dos nossos autores de sempre, antigos mas intemporais, que se funde com as influências de cada um dos elementos do projecto, Paulo Croft na Guitarra Flamenca assume-se actualmente como aluno de Pedro Jóia, Nuno Cintrão conduz a Guitarra Clássica com enorme sensibilidade, Francisco Brito no Contrabaixo, absorvido pela escola de Jazz Hot Clube Portugal, enquanto Andreia João Lopes se rende a toda a expressão Lusófona. Uma viagem próxima e tão longínqua, que vagueia por vários continentes e séculos, mas que encontra as suas raízes mais profundas aqui por perto. "A Corda" é um projecto não tradicional baseado na música tradicional, e também com algum atrevimento, isto porque paralelamente ao repertório que criteriosamente selecciona para apresentar ao vivo, lança-se na composição de música original inédita, com composições de todos os elementos e de Jorge Pitacas...
